Cambodia’s defense ministry said Thai military forces used two F-16 fighter jets to bomb several locations in Pursat Province early Saturday, hitting a hotel and the Chei Chomnas bridges. Cambodia claimed the strikes were ongoing and said there had been no response from Thailand.
The incident comes amid renewed Cambodia-Thailand border tensions since December 7, despite U.S. President Donald Trump saying both sides had agreed to a ceasefire effective Friday evening.
