The total dengue cases for the year have risen to 78,028, with 364 confirmed deaths. Dhaka reported 1,097 cases on its own. Health authorities are intensifying efforts to curb mosquito breeding and conduct anti-larval operations. Dengue, a viral disease transmitted by mosquitoes, brings symptoms like fever, joint pain, and rash. The monsoon season is a high-risk period for dengue in Bangladesh.
