Australia has approved plans for a massive solar farm in its remote northern region, which it claims will be the largest in the world. The project, announced by Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek, is expected to generate enough energy to power 3 million homes. It will include solar panels, batteries, and eventually a cable to connect Australia with Singapore for energy export.
