The 2024 ASEAN Media Partners Cooperation Week began on November 8 in Guilin, Guangxi, China. The event, co-hosted by China Media Group (CMG) and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, brought together over 200 officials, media professionals, and scholars from China and ASEAN countries to discuss “New Quality, Coexistence, Civilization.”
Key speakers included CMG Deputy Editor-in-Chief Fan Yun and Myanmar’s Deputy Minister of Information Aung Hla Tun. CMG announced plans to enhance cultural exchanges using its global broadcasting capabilities and advanced media technologies. Collaborative projects were also launched, including a tourism campaign for Guilin, the filming of the “Pinglu Canal” documentary, and the release of “Beautiful Guangxi.”
Additionally, the “Cloud Listening ASEAN Voices” platform was introduced to strengthen China-ASEAN cultural ties.
