This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the 20th anniversary of the China-ASEAN Expo, with bilateral trade between China and ASEAN reaching $975.34 billion in 2022. Leaders expressed commitment to strengthening cooperation, particularly in infrastructure development and trade relations, and called for deeper market openness, connectivity, and supply chain resilience in the future.
