An art exhibition celebrating 55 years of China-Italy diplomatic relations opened in Rome on June 25, 2025. Guided by Chinese professor Chang Shana, the exhibition features over 200 works by Chinese contemporary artists and master artisans alongside more than 100 prized Italian artworks from Italy’s Museum of Civilizations.
The exhibition showcases traditional Chinese art forms like calligraphy, jade carving, and embroidery, alongside Italian cultural relics such as ceramics and bronze wares, highlighting both the unique and shared cultural heritage of the two nations.
Speeches by China Media Group President Shen Haixiong, Italian Minister of Education Giuseppe Valditara, and others emphasized the deep cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and growing cooperation between China and Italy across various fields, celebrating the enduring friendship and connection between the two countries.
