Apple CEO Tim Cook began his China trip in Shanghai by visiting Pop Mart’s THE MONSTERS 10th Anniversary Exhibition, celebrating the popular character Labubu.
During the visit, Cook met Pop Mart founder Wang Ning and Labubu’s creator Kasing Lung, who demonstrated drawing on an iPad Pro and presented Cook with a special gift.
The exhibition marks the start of a global tour for THE MONSTERS series, featuring original artworks and collectibles. After Shanghai, it will travel to Beijing, Tokyo, Paris, New York, and other major cities.
Labubu’s 10th anniversary and the launch of the Front High Energy Series sparked a worldwide craze in 2025, even pushing the Pop Mart app to No. 1 on the U.S. App Store’s shopping chart.
