China is hosting the third APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting in Dalian from August 17 to 28 as part of the APEC “China Year.”
Representatives from Asia-Pacific economies are discussing trade, transportation, technology and energy, while visiting local industries including shipbuilding and high-tech manufacturing.
International delegates praised Dalian’s rapid development and China’s advances in technology and industrial automation. The meetings are also helping prepare for the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Shenzhen this November. Credit : CGTN
