China holds over 500 annual exhibitions on its war of resistance against Japanese aggression, attracting more than 60 million visits to war sites and memorials each year. Currently, 96 sites are designated as national patriotic education bases, while 11 provinces have introduced 38 travel routes featuring war relics. Many of these sites also function as centers for revolutionary tradition, national defense education, and student field studies, according to Sun Deli, deputy head of the National Cultural Heritage Administration.
