Astronomers have discovered a unique solar system located 100 light-years away in the constellation Coma Berenices, consisting of six planets moving in perfect synchrony like a cosmic orchestra. The synchronized motion of these planets, untouched by external forces since their formation billions of years ago, provides scientists with valuable insights into the early stages of solar system development. The star at the center, named HD 110067, may have more planets, with the current six being two to three times the size of Earth. This discovery, made with NASA’s Tess and the European Space Agency’s Cheops satellites, offers a rare opportunity for comparison and further exploration of planetary systems’ dynamics.
