The Communist Party of China (CPC) will hold its fourth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee in Beijing this October. During the meeting, the Political Bureau will report its work and discuss plans for China’s 15th Five-Year Plan (2026–2030), focusing on economic and social development.
President Xi Jinping led the meeting, which also reviewed the current economic situation and planned economic strategies for the rest of the year.
The meeting emphasized that the upcoming Five-Year Plan is key to advancing China’s goal of becoming a modern socialist country. Despite facing complex global challenges and uncertainties, China’s economy remains stable and strong, supported by its large market, full industrial system, and skilled workforce. The strengths of China’s socialist system continue to stand out.
