The 2026 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Forum on People-to-People Exchange was held in Bishkek, bringing together more than 100 political, cultural, economic and media representatives from SCO countries. The event focused on using media and cultural cooperation to improve understanding and friendship between member states. China Media Group, Kyrgyzstan’s national broadcaster and Pakistan Television also launched a new plan for deeper media cooperation from 2026 to 2027.
