The 2026 Beijing Forum on Swift Response to Public Complaints will be held on October 12 and 13 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Co-hosted by several Chinese organizations, the forum will focus on the theme “People’s City, Better Life” and discuss ways to improve urban governance and public services, including through community-level activities.
More than 3,200 participants are expected, including over 240 international guests from more than 70 countries and regions. Participants will visit Beijing’s 12345 citizen service hotline center to learn about its operations and the use of digital technologies in public services. The forum will also release research on city hotlines and urban governance, along with a collection of international cases and the first English-language book on the “Swift Response to Public Complaints” approach.
