The 2025 China-Central Asia people-to-people exchange event took place in Astana, co-hosted by China Media Group and Kazakhstan’s Presidential TV and Radio Complex. Over 150 guests from various sectors in China and five Central Asian countries attended. During the event, the China-Central Asia Media Cooperation Initiative was launched, aiming to boost collaboration among media organizations in areas like joint reporting, content sharing, and talent development. It also proposed creating a Media Cooperation Alliance to strengthen mutual understanding and promote a shared future between China and Central Asia.
