The 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China, will begin on February 7 and end on February 14, with ice hockey and curling events starting earlier on February 3 and 4. Over 1,275 athletes from 34 countries, including first-time participants Cambodia and Saudi Arabia, have registered, setting a potential record for participation. The opening and closing ceremonies, directed by Sha Xiaolan, will center on the theme “Dream of Winter, Love among Asia.” The first gold medal will be awarded on February 8.
