In China, the Dapeng Bay National Marine Ranch in Shenzhen City stands out as the first coral-themed national marine ranch, integrating ecological restoration, scientific education, leisure, and sightseeing. Coral reefs, known as “tropical rainforests in the sea,” support diverse aquatic life and fisheries. The Dapeng Bay ranch aims to deploy scientific research, recreational fisheries, and seabed observation platforms to promote high-quality development and explore new approaches for protection, development, and utilization of marine resources.
