China has begun the 100-day countdown to the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. A total of 53 countries and three international organizations have confirmed participation in the national pavilion, while more than 1,200 organizations from 99 countries and regions will exhibit at company pavilions, including 265 Fortune 500 companies. This year’s expo will highlight AI and new materials, expand opportunities for African countries and the Global South, and feature the Hongqiao International Economic Forum under the theme “Stability and Cooperation: Building an Open World Economy Together.” Organizers also plan to improve entry procedures and multilingual services for international visitors.
