Brazil’s presidential election will go to a runoff after no candidate won more than 50% of the vote in the first round. With nearly all ballots counted, Flavio Bolsonaro received about 47%, while incumbent President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva received around 45%. The two candidates are expected to face each other in the second-round vote on October 25.
