How Chinese technology supports esports competition at the Asian Games

Tencent’s esports competition system, ECS, is providing technical support for esports events at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan. The system checks equipment and networks before matches, monitors more than 30 indicators during competitions, and records footage and data for later review. It is designed to help referees detect technical problems and possible cheating while making esports competitions easier to manage. ECS supported 217 matches at the previous Asian Games without technical incidents and has also been used in several 2026 test events.
