63 people killed in gold mine collapse in Sudan’s West Kordofan, survivors and volunteers say

At least 63 people were killed when a gold mine collapsed in Sudan’s West Kordofan State, according to survivors and local volunteers. The collapse occurred at a remote mining site where makeshift wells reportedly lacked basic safety measures and rescue equipment, contributing to the high death toll.
