MI Radio Creates Audio Drama of Famous Blind-Themed Film “Voy Boys” for Kyimyindine – School for the Blind

In an effort to inspire visually impaired youth, MI Radio has adapted the acclaimed movie “Voy Boys” into a five-part Myanmar audio drama and donated the project to the Kyimyindine – School for the Blind.

“Voy Boys” follows the inspiring journey of a visually impaired male football team in Xinjiang, China. Starting from an uncertain film project, the team overcame numerous challenges to become a genuinely successful football squad. The title comes from the word “Voy”—a vital term shouted by players during blind football matches to avoid collisions on the pitch.

MI Radio produced the audio adaptation specifically to motivate the students and boost their morale. Alongside the audio drama donation, MI Radio also contributed financial aid to support vocational training programs for the students at the school.

MI Radio will broadcast this audio drama as a radio series during November, it’s learnt.
