The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) ended in Beijing with more than 1,200 outcomes, highlighting China’s shift toward technology-driven and knowledge-intensive services.
More than 1,830 companies participated, with over 116,000 professional visitors. AI, digital technologies, robotics, smart healthcare and other advanced services were major highlights, with nearly 40% of the new “Chinese services” cases involving AI, large language models or AI agents.
The fair also focused on helping Chinese companies expand overseas by providing integrated financial, legal, accounting, intellectual property and other support. Overall, CIFTIS showed China moving from mainly exporting products to increasingly exporting technology, expertise and customized services.
