The Asia-Pacific Media Forum has released the Shenzhen Consensus, calling for greater cooperation to support economic development across the region. More than 400 representatives from over 40 countries and regions attended the forum in Shenzhen. They agreed that openness, innovation and cooperation are important for strengthening trade, regional connections and supply chains.
The forum also highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence, digital technology and green development. Media organizations agreed to work together on joint reporting and cultural exchanges, while promoting accurate and fair reporting. China will host the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Shenzhen in November, with the theme “Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together.” Credit : CGTN
