China has sent emergency humanitarian aid to Nepal after a devastating mudslide hit border areas on August 26, leaving hundreds dead and thousands missing. Two Chinese Y-20 transport planes delivered tents, blankets, sleeping bags, food and emergency supplies to Kathmandu, while Chinese rescue experts have also arrived to help with recovery efforts. China is also sharing satellite, hydrological and other disaster information with Nepal. As of Sunday morning, 734 bodies had been recovered and 2,498 people were still missing, according to Nepalese authorities. Credit : CGTN
