The third APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting of 2026 opened in Dalian, northeast China’s Liaoning Province, on Thursday. The meeting is an important platform for advancing economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and preparing for the APEC Leaders’ Economic Meeting, which China will host in Shenzhen from November 18 to 19. This is the third time China is hosting APEC, with earlier senior officials’ meetings held in Guangzhou in February and Shanghai in May. Credit : CGTN
