Typhoon Saudel, the 18th typhoon of 2026, made landfall in Yuhuan, Zhejiang Province, in eastern China on Friday morning, bringing winds of up to 35 meters per second. Zhejiang and Fujian are expected to face the heaviest rainfall, with strong winds, high tides and torrential rain raising the risk of flooding. As Saudel moves inland, heavy rain is expected to spread across several other regions, including Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan. Credit : CGTN
