Iran and Oman are continuing talks over an agreement to manage the Strait of Hormuz, a key global oil and gas shipping route. Oman says it hopes to establish a temporary corridor to restore safe navigation.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said the United States has removed or destroyed all mines in international waters of the strait and warned that any new mines would be destroyed.
Oil shipments through the waterway remain sharply reduced, with traffic down to around 5 million barrels per day, compared with more than 20 million before the war. Credit : CGTN
