Typhoon Dolphin continues to bring heavy rain across China, prompting higher flood-control responses, transport disruptions and warnings in several provinces.
Beijing activated a Level II flood-control emergency response, with more than 23,000 emergency personnel deployed as heavy rain and flooding risks increase. Tianjin also warned of storm surges and high tides.
Henan, Hubei and Anhui have also been affected, with flooding disrupting roads and railway services. Authorities are maintaining an orange rainstorm alert across several regions, including Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
