Typhoon Dolphin has weakened after making two landfalls in Zhejiang on August 9, but heavy rain and strong winds continue across eastern and central China. Zhejiang, Anhui and Henan face increased risks of flooding, flash floods and landslides, while heavy rain could reach Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei and Shandong from August 12 to 13. Beijing has issued red alerts in several districts, with some areas expecting more than 200 millimeters of rain. Authorities have increased emergency measures and urged residents to avoid dangerous coastal and mountainous areas.
