A school shooting in Thailand has killed nine people, after a 12-year-old girl died from her injuries. A 14-year-old boy allegedly opened fire at a school near Bangkok after shooting his grandparents, before killing himself. More than 30 people were wounded, with several still in critical condition. Police said the teenager had shown an interest in firearms and had watched violent content online. The shooting has renewed calls for tighter gun controls, with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul vowing to introduce new restrictions on carrying firearms.
