China won one gold and three silver medals at the third International Nuclear Science Olympiad in Jeddah, marking its first appearance at the competition. The Chinese team competed against students from 19 countries in exams covering nuclear physics, radiation protection and nuclear fuel. The event, launched in 2024 with support from the International Atomic Energy Agency, aims to encourage young people to study nuclear science and promote international scientific exchange.
