China’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations and Chinese embassies around the world held receptions to mark the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
International officials praised the PLA’s role in supporting global peace and UN peacekeeping efforts. Representatives from the UN and several countries highlighted China’s military contributions, professionalism, and participation in international security operations.
Similar commemorative events were also held at Chinese embassies across Asia, Europe, Africa, and Latin America, with foreign officials attending and expressing recognition of the PLA’s development and international role.
