Seven OPEC+ countries agreed to increase oil production by 188,000 barrels per day in September compared with August levels, following a virtual meeting on Sunday.
The decision marks the sixth consecutive month of production increases as OPEC+ adjusts its voluntary output cuts to support market stability. The group said future production levels will remain flexible based on global market conditions, with the next review scheduled for September 6.
