Iran says traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has fallen to zero as restrictions on vessel movement remain in place amid rising tensions with the United States.
The IRGC Navy said the waterway will remain blocked until what it described as US hostile actions stop. The disruption pushed crude oil prices above $90, raising concerns over global energy supplies.
Meanwhile, the conflict continued to spread across the region, with reports of new Iranian attacks involving Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain, while the US carried out further strikes on Iran. The International Atomic Energy Agency also said it was investigating reports of an attack on Iran’s Darkhovin nuclear power plant construction site, which had no nuclear material during its last inspection.
