Zambia has launched an emergency measles vaccination campaign after confirming 119 cases, with Western Province identified as the center of the outbreak. Health officials said most confirmed cases involve children with incomplete or unknown vaccination histories, raising concerns about further spread. The government has activated its emergency response center and will carry out a measles-rubella vaccination campaign from July 6 to 11 in five high-risk districts, while also expanding disease surveillance, contact tracing, and public awareness efforts.
