Venezuelan authorities say the death toll from the two major earthquakes on June 24 has risen to 2,295, with 11,267 people injured and nearly 12,841 affected overall, according to National Assembly President Jorge Rodríguez. He said more than 6,400 people have been rescued by domestic and international teams, while 25 temporary relief camps are now operating across several states. Authorities are continuing rescue and relocation efforts as aftershocks persist, though their intensity has begun to decrease.
