China said it is willing to work with the United States to improve conditions for two-way agricultural trade, according to the Ministry of Commerce. A spokesperson said agriculture remains an important part of China–US economic relations, and both sides have agreed in principle to include relevant farm products under a framework for reciprocal tariff reductions following recent consultations. However, officials stressed that actual trade will be carried out by companies based on market demand and commercial conditions.
