Chinese President Xi Jinping marked the Communist Party of China’s 105th anniversary by calling on Party members to draw strength from the Party’s history and advance Chinese modernization. Speaking at a commemorative gathering in Beijing, Xi praised the CPC’s achievements over the past 105 years, describing it as a key force behind China’s development, national rejuvenation, and global contributions. He highlighted the Party’s people-centered approach, commitment to reform, and self-improvement, while urging members to tackle future challenges, pursue high-quality development, strengthen national defense, and promote a community with a shared future for humanity. Xi also reaffirmed China’s commitment to national reunification, opposing “Taiwan independence” and external interference, while emphasizing the long-term stability of Hong Kong and Macao. During the event, he presented the July 1 Medal, the Party’s highest honor, to eight outstanding CPC members.
