Chinese Premier Li Qiang has called for faster development of high-end equipment manufacturing and a modern industrial system during an inspection tour in Dalian, northeast China.
Li urged greater breakthroughs in key technologies, stronger talent development, and continued growth in sectors such as shipbuilding, offshore engineering and high-end petrochemical equipment. He also emphasized accelerating the commercialization of scientific achievements and promoting the safe use of next-generation nuclear power technology.
He said China should both cultivate emerging industries and upgrade traditional ones through digital and intelligent technologies to strengthen industrial competitiveness and supply chain resilience.
