During a forum in Minsk, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng called for deeper trade and investment cooperation between China and Belarus. He highlighted the strong momentum of their bilateral relations, noting that trade in 2025 grew to nearly 150 times the volume recorded when diplomatic ties were first established over three decades ago. Additionally, he pointed to the flagship China-Belarus Industrial Park, which has effectively driven local development by attracting 178 enterprises.
To expand on this success, Han urged both nations to align their development strategies, advance high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and explore new drivers for trade growth. He reiterated China’s commitment to high-level opening up and high-quality development, emphasizing that it will create broader opportunities for global partners like Belarus. The forum, which focused on industrial and investment collaboration, was attended by more than 400 people and jointly organized by trade and investment agencies from both countries.
