South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said the country will send special envoys to Africa and other regions to address concerns over reported violence against foreign nationals and improve cooperation on migration.
He made the remarks after talks with Kenyan President William Ruto, saying the initiative aims to strengthen dialogue on migration management and encourage coordinated international responses. Ramaphosa also stressed that South Africa is taking steps to address tensions while upholding the rule of law.
