Iran says it will revise a draft memorandum of understanding with the United States after receiving new amendments from Washington, according to the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
An Iranian source said Tehran will make its own changes to the proposal and stressed that “nothing is final yet,” adding that Iran will only accept terms it agrees with.
US media reports said President Donald Trump had raised concerns over parts of the draft, including sanctions relief and Iran’s frozen assets, and pushed for stricter conditions on Iran’s nuclear program.
The two sides are reportedly still negotiating through intermediaries, with disagreements continuing over key terms of a potential deal to end the ongoing conflict.
