He praised award winners of the China Youth May Fourth Medal and New Era Youth Pioneer for their contributions in areas like technology, rural development, social services, and border defense. Xi said 2026, the first year of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, offers important opportunities for youth to contribute to the country’s future.
