Xi Jinping has called for stronger alignment between education, technology and national strategic priorities, urging greater contributions to China’s development in science, innovation and talent cultivation.
In a letter to four leading universities marking their 130th anniversaries, Xi emphasized the need to boost independent scientific innovation and deepen collaboration between industry, academia and research institutions.
He encouraged institutions to pursue breakthroughs in key technologies while strengthening talent development to support the country’s long-term growth
