Kabul hosted the first Afghanistan-Central Asia consultative meeting on Sunday, bringing together senior diplomats from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. Led by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks focused on enhancing regional trade, transit connectivity, and security cooperation. Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi praised the Central Asian nations for their pragmatic engagement, describing the meeting as a successful model of mutual trust.
