UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany has appointed Chinese professor and physicist Chen Qun as the Assistant Director-General for Education. With over 30 years of leadership experience, Chen will focus on transforming global education systems and promoting inclusive learning. His appointment follows several high-level leadership additions since El-Enany took office last November, including senior officials from Sweden, Mozambique, and Bulgaria.
