Shanghai ended a 25-year title drought by defeating Jiangsu 3-0 in Game 3 of the Chinese Women’s Volleyball League finals, securing a 2-1 series victory and their first championship since the 2000–01 season.
After splitting the first two matches, Shanghai delivered a composed performance at home. They recovered from an early deficit to take the first set 25-23, then controlled the second and third sets 25-19, 25-19 with strong defense and efficient attacking.
The straight-sets win sealed a dominant finish and marked a long-awaited return to the top.
