The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2026 began a plenary session on Thursday in Boao, Hainan Province.
Zhao Leji, chairman of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee, attended the event.
Founded in 2001, the BFA is a non-governmental, non-profit organization focused on promoting regional economic integration and supporting the development goals of Asian countries. This year’s conference, running from March 24 to 27, is themed “Shaping a Shared Future: New Dynamics, New Opportunities, New Cooperation.”
