A press center for China’s annual “Two Sessions” opened Friday at the Media Center Hotel in Beijing. The meetings include the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress, starting March 5, and the fourth session of the 14th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference National Committee, beginning March 4.
More than 3,000 journalists have registered to cover the events, including over 1,000 from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and overseas. Officials are expected to address the media at a series of press conferences outlining key policies and development plans.
