Defending champion Gu Ailing won silver in the women’s big air final at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics 2026, scoring 179.00 points after returning to the event for the first time since her gold at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Megan Oldham of Canada won gold by 1.75 points, while Flora Tabanelli of Italy took bronze. The competition at Livigno Snow Park was delayed due to strong winds and snow. The medal gives Gu five career Olympic medals, the most ever for a woman in freestyle skiing.
